The Oregon FNRL (Future Natural Resource Leaders) is a Career Technical Student Organization that is dedicated to the support of high school students who are interested in pursuing educational and career opportunities within the Natural Resources / Forestry sectors.
The focus of the FNRL Association is to provide career related activities that support the development of Smart, Strong and Safe students, workers and citizens. Key tenets of the FNRL are to understand the Environmental Benefits, Social Benefits and Economic Benefits of Natural Resources / Forestry management.
Focused on the production, processing, marketing, distribution, financing, and development of agricultural commodities including food, horticulture, and other plant and animal products/resources.
Focused on a variety of tasks from helping to develop, maintain, and manage the forest and natural environment to catching and trapping various types of marine life for human consumption, animal feed, bait and other uses.
Focused on the development of life skills, such as interviewing, career investigation, soft skill development, and more.
